Senior Affordable Housing  

This welcoming community features 29 beautifully designed units on the second and third floors, with an average size of 884 square feet for two-bedroom units and 621 square feet for one-bedroom units.

The first floor includes market-rate commercial spaces, enhancing neighborhood life. Plaza Point will earn multiple green building certifications, including LEED for Homes - Platinum, reflecting its commitment to sustainability.

To qualify for residency, you must be at least 62 years old or disabled and meet specific income restrictions based on the Area Median Income (AMI).

This project was made possible by a heartfelt collaboration among Danco Communities, Community Revitalization & Development Corporation, Danco Builders Northwest, USDA Rural Development, the HOME Investment Partnership Program, the City of Arcata, Umpqua Bank, Boston Financial Investment Management, and the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee.
