Coming Winter 2024 

Designed to serve those most in need, Mariposa Place will provide homes for individuals and families who qualify with incomes at or below 60% of the area median income (AMI), offering a lifeline in an increasingly expensive housing market. The seven-story building will feature six floors of thoughtfully designed apartments above a secure parking garage, blending modern comfort with safety. 

Initial Program Eligibility

a) Household income must not exceed the strictest income limits in effect at the time of certification, with units reserved for various income groups.

b) Applicants must disclose social security numbers for all household members aged 6 and older, providing proof such as a social security card or agency verification. If unavailable, personal certification may be accepted.

c) All household members must sign required forms to verify composition, income, assets, and adjustments prior to receiving assistance and annually thereafter.

d) The unit must be the household's only residence.

e) Applicants must agree to timely rent payments as outlined in their lease.

f) Information provided by applicants is subject to third-party verification, and unverified applications may be denied.

g) Citizenship requirements restrict assistance to U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. All members must declare their status, with non-citizens providing proof of eligibility.

h) Full-time student households must meet one of the following: all members are married, the household is a single parent with minor children, or at least one member is enrolled in a qualifying job training program.
